At Rangkari, we are passionate about celebrating India’s diverse cultural heritage through our hand-painted apparel. Our journey began with a simple yet profound idea: to bring traditional Indian art forms to the world of fashion.
The Inspiration
Growing up in India, I was always fascinated by the vibrant colors, intricate patterns, and rich symbolism of our traditional art forms. From the intricate designs of Patachitra to the bold lines of Madhubani art, each style has its unique story to tell. We wanted to share these stories with the world, one hand-painted piece at a time.

The Beginning
Our journey began with the three traditional designs: Patachitra of Odisha, Madhubani of Bihar and Saura of Odisha. Each design was carefully hand-painted by skilled artisans, ensuring that every piece was a unique work of art. We were determined to stay true to the traditional techniques and motifs while making them relevant to modern fashion.

The Vision
At Rangkari, we envision a world where traditional Indian art forms are celebrated and appreciated globally. We want our hand-painted apparel to be more than just a piece of clothing – we want it to be a symbol of cultural pride, a connection to our heritage, and a celebration of India’s diversity.

The Journey Ahead
As we continue on this journey, we’re excited to explore more traditional Indian art forms, collaborate with talented artisans, and push the boundaries of fashion and art. We invite you to join us on this journey to share our passion for Indian art and culture, and to wear a piece of our heritage with pride.
